Born in Roanoke Community Hospital and raised in Draper, VA, Cameron graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise, Sports and Health Education with a concentration in Sports Medicine in 2012. Cameron continued his post-graduate education at Radford University’s Roanoke campus, which is housed in the very same hospital he was born, to obtain a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2015. Cameron’s clinical rotations include two outpatient orthopedic rotations, at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center and Physiotherapy Associates in Cave Spring, and acute/ICU care on the cardiopulmonary wing of Lewis-Gale Medical Center. Cameron has presented at the Southern Conference of Graduate Schools in New Orleans and the American College of Sports Medicine in San Diego for his research on Identifying Risk Factors for Injury and Concussion in Adolescent Athletes.
Cameron is Co-owner and President of Advanced Performance and Exercise (APEX) of Virginia, the Wellness Division of Advanced PT. Cameron has a passion for injury prevention, strength and conditioning, nutrition and assisting residents of the New River and Roanoke Valley reach their personal fitness and health goals.
Cameron and his wife Melinda, a speech therapist at Springtree Health and Rehab, currently live in Roanoke and are blessed to be a part of the Advanced PT family.
